Hi ya'll

i sound daft but i have no clue about what white lables, maxi release means in the producer status.

another question whilst i am being daft, is there any software out there that can cut out the vocals from a track of any CD.

Sorry, I don't have a clue what you mean by DAFT. ;)

But somebody once showed a video tutorial on ebel explaining how to extract a vocal part of a song by "sample reversion". I think it's made with fruity loops studio.

Here's the VIDEO

if the vocal is mono, (most commonly) you can pan both channels to centre and phase reverse one leg, leaving just the mono signal...

I think thats right... Hmmmm or am I talking non sense?

anyone?

Hi

it's just to have an idea of your producing involvment

white label = usually dub plates ... means some of your stuff you have presed, or someone pressed to play in a club etc...
maxi release = not an album, but a single .. basically something more official than a white label :)

live performances = played in concert/party

album released = obvious

broadcasted = your music is playing on mtv, radios etc...

I really thought it was near impossible to take vocals or any other track from a track thats already mixed down!! the only thing i can think of to do it is have some sort of frequency analyser to figure it out and stuff. But still, you couldnt get it perfect. could you?? gonna have to check out this tute now. intruiging. who the hell knows how to spell that anyway! And check out my electro group www.myspace.com/defiremusic
