Dear non-Belgian electrobel user,
As some may have noted with visiting the Belgian Electrobel portal, electrobel.be is hosting a new concept in the 'Dark contest' idea.
Initially started by user Sapaj with his girlfriend's painting being the main price, we have been able to expand this idea further: From the top 5 users that will be voted through visitors (voting starts Monday), one artist, which will be chosen by a professional jury, will also receive a chance to perform at the Je m'en fish & Electrobel night on Saturday the 7th of april 2007, Tour & Taxis Music room, during the Brussels International festival of fantastic film. For those of you not familiar with the tour & taxis site, it is one of Belgium's largest locations, check out their info here:

Although it is our hope to push this concept to the other platforms in the year(s) to come if at all possible, we would already like to give a chance to our friends from other portals to come and meet, discuss, and have fun. Therefore, I am offering 10 free tickets to the users of each portal outside of Belgium. Discuss carpooling etc. and the first ones that want some will get them. I can possibly also help out with cheaper hotel accomodation for those that would want so; But don't worry because we continue until 6h or 7h in the morning.
Not only will there be this presentation of the artist of the dark contest, we will also have:
-The Neon Judgement [live: 25 years]: Pioneers of the EBM genre together with front 242

-Luc Van Acker presents Revco (Revolting cocks): Initially started with Al Jourgensen (Ministry) and Richard 23 (Front 242) as a studio project, Revolting cocks would become known live for their, well, revolting shows. Luc Van Acker will present his own soundsystem version with a new line-up due to popular demand after a sold-out ministry tour through the USA in 2006.

-Foochow , Je m'en fish artist presenting his new CD, which will be digitally distributed through Alfa Matrix label.

The concerts and afterparty will take place on a 17.000W Meyer soundsystem with a high quality lightshow. The visual presentation will be on a 7m on 4m screen.
At the same time will take place the 20th international body painting contest and the whole night there will be screenings of alternative films on a 16m on 6.5m screen, the largest in Belgium!
(Other days also include Buscemi, Troissoeur featuring D. Bressanutti from front 242, and much more, and a few VERY nice visitors in the world of fantastic film will be announced shortly. Keep checking http://www.bifff.org )
