as any of you who's been checking either schreinein.com and/or myspace.com/schreinein.......you'll have noticed very little updates lately! basically, that's because of shifts in our daily & personal lives (marriage, fatherhood, work etc etc) has made for very little time or energy to be creative! finding time for the 3 of us to be in the same room has been problematic for a while now............a crap excuse, but the truth nontheless!
but one thing is certain, as we write this, schreinein is very much a living, breathing entity! WE ARE NOT DEAD YET!
so........the good news! this is very much a shift into a new phase in our personal and creative lives that will be reflected in our new art! colin tufts has pretty much completed 80% of his own solo e.p at the schreinein studio (produced and engineered by colin & alex)......teasers of the forthcoming e.p can be found in a roughly mixed form at his myspace site!
david is pushing ahead with his own blackantlers project, a more extreme version of the schreinein concept! initial recordings have been laid down and are waiting to be shaped into the final outcome! everything has been permitted......fuck all has been denied! loud quiet brutal serene avant garde rock musique concrete dub electronic psychedelic mash up.....everything and the kitchen sink (literally)! we expect to have some examples ready by christmas!
